Holiday Cottages

Hideaways offer a carefully chosen selection of english holiday cottages, country homes, farmhouses and apartments in rural and coastal settings and in historic towns throughout the West Country, Wessex, the South East and the Heart of England.

The current selection spans 12 different counties from coastal Devon, Somerset and Cornwall in the west to coastal Kent in the east and a particularly wide selection in Wiltshire (including the cathedral city of Salisbury), Dorset and Hampshire, where we offer a number of properties in and around the New Forest. We also have several properties within easy reach of London, in Berkshire, Wiltshire Buckinghamshire and Surrey.

Moving northwards, we feature properties in scenic areas such as The Cotswolds, The Forest of Dean and The Wye Valley and we also include delightful properties in Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon and Ludlow.

Most cottages are available throughout the year and there is flexibility on the length of stay, so whether you're looking for a short break of a few nights or an extended holiday of a month or more, we can help. Short Breaks are popular with many of our visitors, especially out of season when the roads are less busy. Many Hideaways cottages are of a particularly high standard and offer period character combined with excellent facilities. Currently included in our portfolio is a Wesleyan chapel converted with flair and imagination, several large, elegantly furnished farmhouses sleeping up to 12, and a number of idylic thatched cottages, which combine character and atmosphere with the practical conveniences of modern living.
