Ang Temba Sherpa prints - some countersigned by Sir Edmund Hillary.The artist Ang Temba Sherpa is deaf and non-speaking. A recipient of a Himalayan Trust Scholarship, he was trained by the revered Kappa Kalden, the artist responsible for great works of religious art throughout the Everest district. The style is primitive and depicts the way of life in this remote Bhuddist region. The monasteries, prayer flags, trading routes, high passes, porters, yaks, and of course the yeti features strongly in these pictures. Approx. 448 x 520 mm. VAT is not charged. Charity No 1000153.
